Removal of the Confirmation Form and Maintenance Service

5 July 2007

Dear Valued Customers,

As part of MYNIC's objective to provide more efficient and speedy service, we are pleased to inform customers that MYNIC will simplify its domain name registration process with the removal of the Confirmation Form requirements starting from 17th July 2007.

With this new process, customers are no longer required to provide Reseller or MYNIC with a signed Confirmation Form for the registration of domain names. Please take note that as stated in the Domain Name Registration Agreement (refer to http://www.mynic.net.my/newhp/MYNIC-050_Agree.htm):-

"By submitting the Domain Name Registration Form to domreg@mynic.net.my and/or registering/using the .my domain name, the Registrant confirms that the Registrant has read, understood, accepted and agreed to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement and MYNIC's applicable rules, policies and procedures, as amended and supplemented by MYNIC from time to time."

The removal of this confirmation form affects all new registration processes including new registration due to transfers. Customers may view the updated processes and procedures on MYNIC's website on the launch date.

In addition, please be informed that we will also be conducting maintenance services on 16th July 2007 (5:30pm - 11:30pm).

During this maintenance window, you will not be able to access all the services on our website. However, all domain names registered with MYNIC will not be affected by this maintenance work.

Please do not hesitate to e-mail domreg@mynic.net.my or call us at +603-8991 7272 if you have any query at all.

Thank you.
